Meet Dr. Summers
Dr. Summers earned his Honors Degree in Microbiology and a minor in Mathematics from Clemson University. He then graduated with honors amongst the top of his class from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Dr. Summers completed his orthodontics specialty training at the Medical College of Georgia.
Dr. Summers was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. A one-time Olympic hopeful in ice hockey, he has competed all over the United States and Canada. Dr. Summers and his wife, Sandi, have four children, Jefferson, Smith, Ellis Jayne, and Adeline. In addition to being active members of the First Baptist Church of Simpsonville, they have also served on medical mission trips to Honduras and are happy to serve the local community in various ways and organizations.
